Minute Maid

Project overview

Minute Maid Project is a fictional design which showcases the creation three original posters: Discover the Pulp, Juicer Mornings, and Enjoy the Freshness.

The design plays with the exaggeration of orange as a vibrant, juicy element, with each poster title featuring creative wordplay.

The goal was to demonstrate my skills in visual communication, composition, and photo editing. I used a mix of images with people, animals, and pets to create a fresh, fun atmosphere centered around family and friendship. Photoshop was used for editing, Procreate for sketches.

Process & Design Tools

Main target audience

Individuals who seek a fresh, healthy lifestyle—people of all ages who appreciate natural, vibrant products that reflect energy and well-being.

The visual moodboard

To ensure the project’s visual direction was clear and cohesive, I also created a moodboard to highlight the overall concept, color scheme, and tone of the designs.

Original sketches

Generally, for my designs, I create elementary sketches on my iPad Air using the Procreate app. Initially, I was only going to do one, but I decided to make a collection of three posters to tell a story in each one visually.

1. Jucier mornings

I designed a large orange segment as a bench in a modern city park setting, where two children admire the landscape and a young man holding an orange. Nearby, a woman sits on a bench with her pug.

The poster’s tagline, plays on the dual meaning of "juice"—both as a symbol of happiness and the enjoyment of Minute Maid's drink. The orange and juice cartons next to the man emphasize the connection between joy, family, and pets.

1. Discover the pulp

For this design, I created a tropical setting to convey freshness, using an orange as a pool in the middle of the beach.

The images feature people relaxing, drinking juice, and playing with a ball. In the background, I included small details like a boat, sandcastle, parachute, palm trees, a hammock, and a hot air balloon—iconic elements found on beaches.

3. Discover the pulp

In this poster, I included a diverse group of people—children, young adults, and even a pet—gathered in awe as they carefully examine the orange pulp on the grass. This scene complements the title, “Discover the pulp, enjoy the orange juice.”
To enhance the organic feel, I added orange trees, mountains, and lush green valleys in the background, symbolizing vitality, nature, and health.

From the sketch to the final result

In each of the posters, on the lower right side, the Minute Maid orange juice container that I designed will be shown, along with a glass of the same juice. Additionally, the white clouds will form an essential part of the design, with the white background making the Minute Maid logo stand out. In the designs, I included a path of sand, red clay, or stone leading to the juice to visually highlight the product alongside the glass. Although Minute Maid's website doesn’t exist for this personal project, I added the website information on the lower left side.

Below, you can see the final result of each poster with its respective details, as well as a visual application—advertisements for bus stops in parks, residential areas, and beaches.
