Project overview

When I worked as the Regional Design Coordinator at International Schools Partnership (ISP), I created digital and print campaigns for several schools across Mexico, including Instituto Thomas Jefferson Campus Guadalajara – Palomar, a private, bilingual, and multicultural school.

The artwork was realized by me on Photoshop using photos of the teacher and the students, using the collage technique.

One of the biggest challenges was to design a campaign that resonated emotionally with students and teachers, who, after a year of online classes due to Covid-19, were finally returning to the classroom.

That’s why we named the campaign “Back to School: We Miss You Too” — a heartfelt message celebrating the reunion of students and teachers and the joy of experiencing Amazing Learning together once again, in person.

Main target audience

Parents and guardians looking for a high-quality, bilingual, and multicultural education for their children, from nursery to high school, at Instituto Thomas Jefferson Campus Guadalajara – Palomar.

Connect emotionally with a diverse audience after social distancing.

Balance formal brand guidelines with a warm and heartfelt creative approach.

Adapt designs consistently across social media, website, and print.

In addition, the school had the budget to generate offline campaigns placed on billboards in shopping centers in Guadalajara and also printed on flyers to distribute inside and outside the school to spread the word about the campaign.

The digital campaign

During the pandemic, the institute’s social media presence experienced significant growth, which allowed me to successfully launch a campaign on Facebook and Instagram between July and August 2021. Thanks to this momentum, we built a strong and engaged community.

Additionally, I designed the school’s homepage featuring the "Back to School" campaign. This was a key element of the strategy, as the Facebook ads directed traffic to our website, leading to a higher number of leads through the school’s enrollment form.
